Photos & design proofs

What makes a good photo?

One clear, evenly lit, front-facing shot where the face is visible and not covered. Overcast daylight or a window works best. Avoid heavy filters, sunglasses, blurry screenshots and crowded group shots. For pets, a photo taken at eye level keeps the ears and eyes true to life.

Can you use an old or damaged photo?

Often yes. Send it and we will tell you honestly what we can recover. We have rebuilt pieces from scanned prints, phone screenshots and slightly faded photos — the design proof is free, so there is no risk in trying.

Can you combine two photos into one keepsake?

Yes. Couples, families and human-plus-pet pieces are routinely built from multiple photos. Just note who should stand where and which outfit or expression to use for each person.

How fast is the design proof, and is it really free?

The first design proof lands in your inbox within 24 hours. It is completely free, and you are not charged until you approve the design and place the order.

How many revisions can I request?

As many as it takes. Hair, outfit, posture, props, background — revisions are free and unlimited by email until the design feels right. Only after you approve it does production begin.

Product & materials

What are the keepsakes made of?

Full-color resin, built layer by layer: a layer of color resin ink is laid down and cured with UV light, then the next layer follows — until the piece is complete. It is sealed with a soft matte or gloss finish in our studio. Bases can be engraved with a name and date on every size.

How is a keepsake printed?

Layer by layer. A layer of color resin ink is laid down, cured with UV light, and then the next layer follows — until the piece is complete. Color is printed inside the material itself, so there is no separate painting step. Every piece is then sealed and checked by hand in our studio.

Cartoon or realistic — which should I choose?

Cartoon is the classic keepsake look: friendly, stylised, great for gifts. Realistic keeps every freckle and fabric detail. The premium option adds a modelled base and extra detail. You can compare finishes on any product page.

How big are the pieces?

Standard is about 15 cm tall, Large about 22 cm, and the Display case option is around 28 cm including the case. Keychains are pocket-sized, roughly 6–8 cm.

Will it look exactly like the photo?

It is a finished resin keepsake, not a photocopy — but likeness is the whole point. A human finisher checks the eyes, the smile and the small details before it ships, and you approve the design proof first.

Production & timing

How long until my order arrives?

Production takes 10–15 business days after you approve the design proof, then tracked delivery adds roughly 5–9 business days depending on your location. Rush options may be available — ask before ordering if you have a hard deadline.

When does the clock start?

Once you approve your design proof. Unlimited free revisions mean there is no pressure to sign off early — but nothing goes into production until you do.

Can you hit a specific date?

Often. Tell us the date in your order notes or contact us before ordering, and we will confirm whether it is realistic rather than guess.

Shipping & delivery

Do you ship worldwide?

Yes, to most countries. Shipping is free on orders over $79, and every parcel ships tracked. See Shipping & Delivery for zones, timelines and duties.

How do I track my order?

Use the tracking number in your dispatch email, or open our order tracking page and enter your order number and email — no login required.

Will I pay customs or duties?

Depending on your country, import duties or taxes may apply on delivery. These are set by your local customs authority and are the buyer's responsibility.

Warranty & returns

What does the warranty cover?

Every keepsake carries a 180-day after-sales guarantee. If a piece arrives damaged, or the likeness is clearly wrong compared with your approved design proof, we remake it free within the warranty period.

Can I return a custom piece?

Because every piece is made to order, we cannot resell a personalised item — so returns are handled through the warranty rather than a general refund. If something is wrong, we fix or remake it. Full details on Returns & Exchanges.

My order arrived damaged. What now?

Email support@wonderfigures.com with your order number and a photo of the damage within 7 days of delivery, and we will arrange a free remake.

Video production

Do you make videos from my cartoon figure?

Yes. We provide video production based on your cartoon figure, and together we try to give it more life and more room for imagination.

Is the music an extra cost?

No. The copyright music we own has its fee included in the video production price, and it is licensed for non-commercial use. Our library includes every song written and performed by our founder Jaybe Huang, our songs are mainly songs, and it keeps growing as more musicians join us.

Can I still make my own video instead?

Of course. Every order still comes with a licence to the song file plus a cartoon avatar still, so you can post your own personal, non-commercial video — or let the studio produce one for you. The song is a digital licence: nothing musical is printed or shipped with your keepsake.

The music license

Is the song really free with my order?

Yes — for personal, non-commercial use. You already paid for the keepsake; the song is part of the order. Every track comes from our own copyright library — it includes every song written and performed by our founder Jaybe Huang, one of our artists — so there is no third party to claim your video.

Can I use it on a monetized channel or in ads?

No — that is commercial use and is not covered by the free license. Email us for a commercial quote; it is usually a small flat fee for personal channels and a percentage for brand work.

Do I have to credit the artist?

Yes — it is the single condition. One line in the caption or description: “Music: Jaybe Huang — [track] (licensed via Wonder Figures)”. We give you a copy-and-paste kit on the Video Plus page.

I am a musician. Can I join Wonder Figures?

Yes — we would love that. The library started with our founder Jaybe Huang's songs, and we want more musicians to join us and bring the studio more imagination. Send us your work.

Where can I read the full terms?

The binding terms live on the Music License page. The short version: personal, non-commercial, worldwide, non-exclusive, credit required, commercial use by separate agreement.
